I would like to link my Final Project with the topic I was writing the dissertation on. My dissertation topic name was ‘Photographs as Objects of Memory’ where I was discussing the notion of photographs and photography being an element of our lives. How photography can invigorate our memory and recreate the past. So I would like to base my Final project on something related to this area, and use the outcome of it to prove my ideas from practical point of view.
The idea is called Chelsea Photo Album 2007. I want to create a real photo album and photograph everyone in the college at the moment. The Photo Album will be twice the size of the original and can be put inside college space or outside triangle space. The idea sounds very simple but I think I can make it interesting.
It can be something like a yearbook and it’s about Chelsea and personal to me. It is also related to my dissertation topic because it is going to be based on photography and memory. It is relevant to the moment because it’s almost the end of the course and it can be something to remember each other by. (The small size photo albums will be available also).
The research will be based on organising everything, and trying to find the right style. Taking photographs and designing will be the largest part of work. I also think that this is an innovative project because it is something that everyone would have and at the same time it could be something very special.
It is also good for me because it will give me the opportunity to communicate with other people from the college and when it is finished it will be a good demonstration of my skills.

I have distinct problems with this project- its is on the surface a mere extension of your dissertation and teh Brighter Journal is the 'year book' representation of the year and its work. For the project to have been successful and demonstrate the many changes and refelections of the group you would have to have started recording images three years ago and not in the last term.
We already keep a record of progress from this point on and I doubt that your album would add aanything new.
