1. Through the eyes of a child
I’m thinking of doing something that I would love doing, something to do with (surprise surprise) kids. The idea is to ask 50 (maybe less or more) children of what they would do if they were a final year student at Chelsea and then collaborate with these children and produce all the work they propose. It could be 'the 11 year old Chelsea student's portfolio'
2.101 uses for a single object
This idea is to look at household objects that we often regard as insignificant and find out other uses for it. For example what else can one do with a 'garlic crasher'?. This could take form in a book format like the '40 fact you wanted to know about Chelsea...' prospectus?
Does anyone think this is worth a 14week FMP?
Feedback would be most appreciated

Honest views from me, Ivy:
40 Facts Prospectus: not worth it dude, prospectus covered by university and Brighter Journal covered by Ana which may end up including an article as such (suggest it to the editorial team tho!).
Collaboration with kids: make it in to a mega-wonga project working with inner city primary schools and get the council as your client. Creative community stuff definitely has a big place industry-wise. If you could tutor those kids to a point where they had a great portfolio...
I like the idea of someone older creating their version of a child's idea, but at the end of the day, do you really want your portfolio to consist mainly of things that have their basis in junior school?
maybe make something really well made and designed out of things that children would use to get creative e.g pasta shells, glitter etc but produce something worthy of industry?
kids are getting older younger - if that makes sense?
instead of them taking loads of drugs & going around beating people, get them to design an uber-slick, gridded up portfolio of all their work - finger painting.
basically take some kids & turn them into graphic designers at an abnormally young age.
Thanks for all that guy. I certainly do not want to end up doodles for a FMP (GTS would slaughter me).
As Aleister suggested I went to see Wandsworth council (that’s my borough) and asked if they had any community/ schools project I could be part of or maybe even run. They don’t have any at the moment that I could be part of but they liked the idea of working with school children and said they would help me out.
Well, they only went and sent emails to all the schools in Wandsworth. Now I have received quite a few emails from head of schools interested and wanting to know what I plan to do with their schools.
