Shortened Version / Less Waffle - Joanne

This project will attempt to push the boundaries of the static print ad in using the advantages the Internet, interactivity and moving image gives over the traditional format. Building upon my thesis that discusses the cultural production of fashion, it would center around the relationship graphics/fine art methods has to fashion media and the artistic capital gained in the interaction between the two. The project would involve creating an interactive piece with potential movie clips, photos and added extras that will explore the differing ways of propagating a brand with a narrative. It would show skill sets that pertain to the area of design I’d like to continue in such as art direction, production, set design, moving image and interactivity-based skills and corresponds with the work I’ve been doing as a research assistant for the Fashion in Film Festival.

Shorter description much better.
I have got to be honest and state from the outset that to align this goal with an actual (progressive) live, fashion design client, organisation or group, would define boundaries and offer you a critical mass against which to define the success of the project.
Otherwist their could be the problem of defining your own tastes- as you well know, teh professional fashion world is much more eclectic and demanding than that.

You are all cool and good to go so no need to attend.
