Anna Rhodes: Nostalgia as a comfort blanket for adults
I will be making a scaled up version of a children’s coin operated ride in the form of a giraffe, this will pose many questions about why nostalgia is used so readily in design and will also be accompanied with a log book documenting the process of the decision making and art direction.

yes - you're right. my brain has been on sleep mode all week. food poisoning i'm afraid... charlie b was my secretary for this
No problems....we'll find a way more tantalising project title I'm sure.
While I have your attention, just a prompt for the 'editorial team' to hook up with David Barnett at some point soon to discuss technical background to Brighter Journal 2.
i've found a company who can make me the whole object www.severn-lambuk.co.uk
Too bad i haven't got a quote yet
Quick question; is this going to be a fully working model? If not, do you think there will be an issue with people not getting the idea, i.e, ''big giraffe sitting in the parade ground, mustn't touch it's a piece of fne art''. I seem to remember you wanting people to climb on it you see.

I know! Like I said, where is the love?!
